The Story of Wasel

A few months ago, I had a dentist appointment in Casablanca. I arrived exactly on time, but I spent the entire day waiting. I watched people negotiating their place in line as if we were in a souk.

Sitting there, I kept asking myself one question: "Why do we live in a country where literally everyone uses WhatsApp, but businesses still manage their appointments on pieces of paper?"

I'm a software engineer, not a receptionist. So, I decided to fix the problem.

Today, Wasel is no longer just an idea. It's an artificial intelligence that answers clients in Darija, French, and Arabic. It's a smart booking system that ends the chaos of the "sharp 7am" appointments. It's automatic reminders that drastically reduce no-shows, and marketing campaigns that actually reach their target without getting banned.
